Kerry Stewart Pilates is based in Glasgow’s West End. Pilates has been growing in popularity throughout Scotland. The word regularly features in the press.  A wide range of sports personalities have raised awareness of the exercise method and now many are taking on pilates as part of their everday life.  Desk based workers with poor posture, people with back or neck pain, post-natal mothers and those who want to tone up are just some of the groups who feel that pilates works for them! Pilates is a very corrective exercise method and it enhances all the other movements we do.

Feel free to come along to a Zoom Pilates class, a pilates class in person or one-to-one session as they are a relaxing and enjoyable way to keep fit whilst benefitting your body! They are open to men and women of all ages and are a great way to feel refreshed and like you've had a re-boot!

Kerry has a Mat Pilates (Level 3) CYQ Central YMCA qualification and has gained additional Reps points through Hanson Pilates training workshops in ‘Mini Balls and Bands’, ‘Modifying Original Moves’ and has been awarded with a Level 3 Ante and Post Natal Exercise award. She has completed Pilates Small Equipment and Pilates Shoulder & Neck Rehabilitation courses with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute).

One to one sessions are available for those that are apprehensive in starting or want a personal tailored postural assessment and work out plan based on their body, muscle imbalances from a sport or daily lifestyle. She is able to design one to one lessons for those with special conditions, sporting goals or problem areas. This allows the receiver to gain a good grounding in the how and why pilates works and to ask any questions that they may have. Click on the tab above for information on one to one sessions.

Beginners and  those more advanced are welcome to any of the classes. Different levels will be demonstrated for every move, so you can work at your pace. Its fun and a great de-stresser!
